From fashion design to UX Design, design is how I think.

I’ve been designing since my formative years. I would picture the perfect prom gown and try to make that picture come to life with materials and technique and trial and error.

Of course my earliest projects never measured up to the design I had in my mind, but over time I mastered the craft of fashion design. I became a tailor to put myself through college, I wrote a sewing manual for the university tailoring shop, and managed a sewing team.

After college years I created wedding gowns, bespoke dresses, custom upholstery etc. I design and manufacture hair accessories that are wearable and sought after for the problems they solve. I’ve designed clothing for boutiques and for manufacture, taught myself to knit and to do surface design textiles.

In recent years I have helped build the fashion sewing community, teaching the things I know to every level of skill. I share my process on multiple social media platforms including Instagram and Youtube.
